The apartment itself lives up to that “cozy” promise, though I’d say it’s more like staying at your stylish Italian friend’s place than a typical hotel room. The owners (who are part of this Wonderful Italy group) clearly put thought into the details – there’s this mix of modern touches and classic Italian warmth that doesn’t feel forced. The kitchen actually works if you want to grab groceries from the little market around the corner, and honestly, after a few days of restaurant meals, making coffee the way you like it becomes a bigger deal than you’d expect. The Wi-Fi’s solid too, which… well, anyone who’s tried to work from Italian accommodations knows that’s not always a given.

What really sold me on the location was discovering that you’re basically equidistant from all the good stuff – the university quarter with its buzzing aperitivo spots, the food market at Mercato delle Erbe (get there early on Saturday mornings), and those narrow medieval streets that tourists spend hours trying to find. The 31 bus stops right at the end of the street if you need to get to the train station, though you probably won’t need it much since everything’s walkable. One small thing – the street can get a bit echoey in the evenings when people are coming home from dinner, but it’s Bologna, not a library, and it usually settles down by 11 PM. The 8.3 rating makes sense to me; it’s not luxury-hotel perfect, but it’s got that genuine character you can’t fake, plus the kind of thoughtful touches that show someone actually cares about your stay rather than just processing bookings.

  What could be improved: -the apartment is extremely noisy , it’s in a central location, low floor next to a busy road. that wouldn’t be a big problem if the windows were better but the ones installed didn’t block the noise at all ( the outside noise was getting better around 3-4 am depending on the day). plus i assume the studio was perviously a part of a bigger apartment as you could hear everything the neighbours were talking about and what they watched at night through very thin walls. so bring earplugs if you want to sleep at all.
  -the place had a coffee machine but provided capsules were incompatible, not a big problem of course, just a bit silly especially that the person checking in mentioned they can be used

  Great location and communication from the company. They were very flexible with a check in time. The apartment was clean and well equipped.
  
  What could be improved: We let our host know that the toilet seat was broken and the shower door was missing a section. The price was a bit high as the apartment was fairly dated ( this is in comparison to other places we stayed in bigger centres).

  The property was in a great location and easy access to bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. The kitchen had basic utensils and the whole apartment was very clean upon arrival. The agent was easy to communicate with and got us into the property on time.
  
  What could be improved: The toilet seat was completely broken and unattached, the shower doesn’t drain properly, and the coffee machine didn’t work. The apartment is very hot and could do with more electric fans rather than just one.

  The apartment was very clean and centrally located between all the downtown activities and the central train station. The bed was comfortable and overall has all the amenities we needed for our short stay. I would definitely stay here again.
