It’s tucked into this lovely tree-lined street that feels residential but still buzzing with life — honestly, the kind of spot where you’d want to live if you called Bologna home. The building itself has that understated Italian elegance that doesn’t scream for attention but somehow draws you in anyway.

Here’s what I love about this location — you’re actually in a real Bologna neighborhood, not some tourist bubble. There’s a morning market just a few blocks away where locals do their shopping, and I mean the kind where vendors still call out prices and you can smell fresh herbs from the street. The four-star rating makes sense when you realize you’re getting boutique-level attention to detail without the stuffiness. You know what’s really convenient? The bus connections here are fantastic, so getting to the historic center takes maybe fifteen minutes, but you can also just walk it in about twenty-five if the weather’s nice.

Your Room Experience

The room I stayed in had this perfect balance of modern comfort and Italian style — think clean lines but with warm touches that actually feel authentic, not like someone just threw some generic “Italian” decor around. The bed was seriously comfortable (and I’m picky about mattresses), plus there’s decent storage space which you don’t always get in European hotels. What really impressed me was the attention to lighting — they actually thought about how you’d want different moods throughout the day, not just one harsh overhead fixture.

Daily Rhythms

Breakfast happens in this bright space that overlooks the street, and while it’s not elaborate, everything feels fresh and thoughtfully chosen. The coffee is proper Italian strong, obviously, and there’s usually some local pastries that change based on what’s seasonal. I actually found myself looking forward to sitting there in the mornings, watching the neighborhood wake up — there’s something really satisfying about seeing Bologna residents heading off to work while you’re planning your day of wandering around.

You’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the crowds that you can actually breathe. Plus, there’s something to be said for staying somewhere that feels like a local secret rather than an obvious tourist choice — you’ll probably end up with better stories to tell when you get home.

  Everything was perfect, the host was very friendly and let us check out later than expected. The apartment is spacious, cozy and very well equipped. 100% worth booking.

  Everything was fine. New and clean rooms. Possible to park car (the owner gives a permission to park in the street). The location is not far from main attractions, about 20 minutes to walk. Good place for staying. Recommended!
