The owners clearly spent time thinking about what travelers actually need – I’m talking proper lighting for reading, enough outlets near the bed (thank god), and a kitchen that’s actually equipped for cooking, not just reheating leftovers. The whole place has this warm, lived-in feeling that you don’t get in standard hotels. Actually, the morning light that comes through the windows is pretty spectacular, especially if you’re an early riser like me. And the neighborhood? It’s got that perfect Bologna energy – you’ll hear students chatting as they walk to class, the occasional vespa puttering by, but it’s never overwhelming or loud at night.

What really won me over was how effortlessly you slip into the local rhythm here. There’s a little bar just down the street where the coffee is legitimately better than anything you’ll find near the main tourist spots, and the guy behind the counter started recognizing me after just two days. The Sant’Orsola hospital area might sound clinical, but it’s actually one of those quietly vibrant parts of the city where real Bologna life happens. You’re close enough to walk to the centro storico when you want that postcard experience, but far enough away that you can grab groceries at the local market without fighting through crowds of tour groups. Parking was surprisingly manageable too – the hosts gave me clear instructions that actually worked, which, if you’ve ever tried to park in an Italian city center, you’ll appreciate. The 9.7 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be fancy or impress anyone, it’s just thoughtfully put together by people who understand what makes a stay memorable. I’d definitely book it again, especially during the quieter months when you can really soak up that neighborhood atmosphere.

  Sebbene abbiamo soggiornato per poco, è stato tutto perfetto, a partire dalla comunicazione con il sig. Gianluca, host disponibile e attento ai dettagli (la chicca della colazione, decisamente un punto a favore!). Location facile da raggiungere con i mezzi, l’appartamento è pulitissimo e fornito di tutto il necessario, oltre che ben arredato.
  Consiglio vivamente questa struttura, sarà per noi un riferimento per il prossimo viaggio a Bologna!
