  So this is a tough one. It was a charming appartment in the old town, great location. no AC, but still held cool by its architecture. Big table to fit all people for evenings. Had some recent renovations (though partly poorly done, see below)
  
  What could be improved: So we had a situation with the appartment that forced us to get relocated ASAP (if you travel alot you might get why). The employees for that were nice and helpful and I am greatful for their help and I understand it is not an issue they had full control over.
  
  My bad review now is based on the communication afterwards. I have contacted the rental agency (wonderful Italy) multiple times, over different channels, in the two weeks following to resolve the issue we had with our stay.
  It is one of the kind where you need to take extra precautions for your travel home and might see a doctor, to give you, my reader, more hints).
  I was told I would hear back 'very soon', at 'end of the week', or 'next Monday', but never the moment I was finally in touch with an employee. I asked for written confirmations of my compensation request which on phone was agreed to and never came to anything.
  
  I might change the review if wonderful Italy will decide to properly respond to me, until then I will leave it as it is.
  
  Comparatively minor inconvenices but still unpleasant: the one toilet was not cleaned, and some of the apparently newly renovated bathrooms had equipments falling apart or were already broken (shower door, shower heads).
