  The location was amazing. There are 4 flights of stairs but we managed them with luggage and were treated with a cool air conditioned apartment.
  The host met us and helped carry a suitcase.
  Communications was clear and any questions were answered promptly.
  The kitchen was perfectly equipped and the coffee machine made wonderful coffee.
  The view is wondrous and we sat and watched people through the piazza at all times of day.

  The location is exceptional. You're at the top floor and have a view of the Town square below in Old Bologna. The wooden beams upstairs are really fun to look at. If you feel the old metal hinge upstairs you can feel where the door swing back and forth centuries ago.

  Via Pescherie Vecchie, 2nd: brilliant location directly on the Piazza Maggiore. The flat is very nice, high rooms, tastefully furnished, even if a storage table is missing in the living room. A perfect flat in an old building with thick beams. The 5th (6th) floor is a bit of a hassle, at our age it doesn't last long (:-)). And the 2nd shower didn't work (the explanation was really Italian cabaret: they didn't have time to repair the shower; and nobody had checked the drain in the working shower for a long time). The windows can't remember the last time they were cleaned. A little noisy at night. Once I needed Oropax, the bad elevator music of the musicians on Piazza Maggiore was a bit annoying. Kitchen equipment as usual in holiday flats: below average. Beds hard, but some like it hard. And you shouldn't need too much space in the beds.
  The Pescherie Vecchie is unique, Bologna at its best.
  We would stay there again if we could manage the climb.
  
  What could be improved: The price. When we book an apartment with 2 bathrooms, we also expect two functioning bathrooms.

  The location is absolutely unbeatable! On the best street in Bologna (Via Pescherie Vecchie) and overlooking the main square.
  The flat itself is lovely, perfectly clean and had all the amenities we needed.
  Our host, Ilaria, was there to greet us on arrival; she was lovely, generous, really communicative and helpful throughout our stay.
