The apartment itself – and it really is a proper apartment, not some hotel room pretending to be homey – has this lived-in comfort that’s honestly refreshing. Anna (and yes, there’s an actual Anna who manages the place) has set it up for six people without that cramped feeling you usually get with vacation rentals. The kitchen’s got everything you need if you want to cook with those gorgeous vegetables from Mercato delle Erbe, which is maybe a fifteen-minute walk away. I actually found myself making coffee there most mornings instead of hunting down cafes, which says something because Bologna’s coffee scene is pretty incredible. The beds are properly comfortable too – not those rock-hard European mattresses that leave you feeling like you wrestled with the floor all night.

What really works about the location is how it puts you in actual Bologna without the chaos. You’re close enough to walk to the university area and the centro storico, but Via Pietro Albertoni has this quiet residential vibe where you can decompress after a day of exploring those endless porticos. There’s a little alimentari around the corner where the owner will chat with you about local wines (if your Italian’s up for it), and honestly, those kinds of interactions are what make a trip memorable. The 9.2 rating makes sense when you stay there – it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything just works the way it should. Check-in was smooth, the place was spotless, and Anna responds to messages quickly, which you appreciate when you’re dealing with Italian train schedules that seem to exist in their own time zone. If you’re looking for a real Bologna experience without paying centro storico prices, this is exactly the kind of place that reminds you why you started traveling in the first place.

  The apartment has a very nice living and dining room, comfortable beds, parking space for small to medium cars, is a short walk away from the center, modern bathroom, lots of space for everyone
  I recommend it, we would have gladly stayed longer
  
  What could be improved: It was hard to brew coffee with the mokka pot because it is too small for the cooking field and the stove turns itself off. You have to place it in a bigger pot w. water to make coffee.
  The shower is a bit tricky to use but nice once you get the hang of it.
  There is no mosquito net at the windows.
  When you leave the parking spot you need a code to open the barrier, please make sure to clarify this with the host so you know how to proceed. A kind neighbor helped us in our case 🙂

  Great attractive location, accessible via bus, plenty of space. I can say the apartment is ideal for a group of 5 people, the host is a professional person.

  Quite big flat in quiet and safe neighbourhood. Easy access to buses, the centre reachable on foot (1,7 km), the Bologna Fairs too (3,1 km). Two bedrooms, one with double bed, one with two separate beds, one bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and spacious living room. A nice bar close.

  The apartment was clean, with hot water all day, air condition (cold or hot), the bed very comfortable, good location and safe area near the hospital and the centre of Bologna. You can go by foot to the centre of Bologna and near by you can find cafe-bar for excellent breakfast. Very highly recommended.
