Pisolo casa vacanze nuovo appartamento vicino all’ospedale Sant’Orsola Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Pisolo casa vacanze nuovo appartamento vicino all’ospedale Sant’Orsola,” I thought someone was just throwing every Italian word they could think of into a booking title. But you know what? This little apartment on Via Tartagni actually gets it right where it counts, and that somewhat clunky name starts to make sense once you realize how perfectly positioned this place is.
The location is genuinely brilliant if you need to be near Sant’Orsola hospital – I mean, it’s literally a few minutes’ walk, which is why I ended up here in the first place. But here’s the thing most people don’t realize: this neighborhood is actually one of Bologna’s best-kept secrets for regular travelers too. You’re tucked away on a quiet residential street (seriously, I slept like a baby even with the windows open), but you can walk to the university area in about ten minutes, and the city center is maybe fifteen minutes on foot. The apartment itself feels properly Italian – none of that sterile hotel chain nonsense. The owner clearly put thought into the details, from the way the morning light hits the kitchen to the fact that there’s actually decent water pressure in the shower, which… well, anyone who’s stayed in old Italian buildings knows that’s not always a given.
What really won me over was how the whole experience felt authentic without being inconvenient. The building has that wonderful worn-stone entrance that makes you feel like you’re living in Bologna rather than just visiting, but inside everything works properly – the WiFi doesn’t drop out every five minutes, the heating actually heats, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, no complicated key-pickup drama that seems to plague half the vacation rentals in this city. I particularly loved being able to grab morning coffee from the little bar around the corner on Via Zamboni – the kind of place where locals actually go, not the tourist traps near Piazza Maggiore. And honestly, having a proper kitchen meant I could pick up those incredible tortellini from Tamburini market and actually cook them properly instead of surviving on overpriced restaurant meals. The 8.4 rating makes total sense once you stay here – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Bologna, but it nails all the things that actually matter when you’re spending real time in a city rather than just rushing through the highlights.

Exceptional – Eva from Slovakia – 24 May 2025 (10/10)
I felt at home here, we even washed our clothes and dried them on the clothesline like at home 🙂 I like authentic accommodation with a local and homely feel. I don't like sterile luxury with a hotel feel.
What could be improved: Everything was ok, thank you for support 🙂Superb – Antonio from Romania – 19 June 2024 (9/10)
Nice location, beautiful old building near de train station, parking lot for the car, 40 min walking to "two tours"
Great value stay – Cbrown7 from United Kingdom – 9 December 2023 (8/10)
A bit out of town but excellently located for public transport (trains and buses). Spacious and light apartment with excellent facilities. The nearby pizza restaurant was superb and well worth a visit, or two.
What could be improved: Bit of an issue gaining access to the apartment but this was soon sorted out.Lots of public transport and all the needed equipment is available for great stay in Bologna. – Nadezhda from Bulgaria – 4 October 2023 (10/10)
Apartment is located a bit away from the center, but it has lots of transport connections. It has lots of supermarket availabilities around. Apartment had everything we needed, including an iron to prepare ourselves for specific meetings. WiFi was perfect, I managed to have working calls or student lectures online without a problem.
What could be improved: There was nothing I didn't like.Disappoiting – Moga from Romania – 31 July 2023 (6/10)
Great apartment, nice facilities, but the location is terrible.
What could be improved: Pretty far from the city centre, in the middle of nowhere, with some dogs nearby from a garage next to it, near the train station, so all night long you will hear trains running by and you will not be able to sleep because of it.Superb – Anca from Romania – 15 April 2023 (9/10)
What could be improved: It would be nice to have a filter for the coffee.
We left Bologna with happy memories. Thanks Paolo. – Hummbird from Turkey – 27 February 2023 (9/10)
It is a well-decorated, clean and comfortable house. It is appreciated that the place is close to one of the train stations in the city. Using the bus to reach the city centre is convenient. Since it is a quiet neighbourhood, it is out of the city centre's noise.
Great apartment and great location – highly recommend – Michelle from United Kingdom – 19 October 2022 (10/10)
Well located next to the train station with no disturbance from the trains. A convenient apartment with a lovely hot shower, plenty of towels, a washing machine and everything else you need for a comfortable stay. Paolo was great at keeping in touch.

Very convenient location. Very close to a bus stop with frequent transportation to the city center.
The appartment was very pleasant to stay, very cosy, very clean and the owner very helpful providing all necessary information and details to make my staying comfortable.

First we loved this apartment, it is clean, spacious and well equipped. The host is so easy to talk to and has many suggestions for what to do and where to eat. We used the apartment as a base to see several towns/cities in the area and was perfect. Will stay again if we are in the area.
