The Saragozza area has this lovely residential feel, but you’re still just a pleasant stroll from the main piazzas. You can actually hear the city’s rhythm from here without being overwhelmed by it. The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had that perfect balance of modern comfort and Italian character. Nothing too fancy, but everything felt thoughtfully chosen — from the linens to the way the morning light filtered through the windows. The bathrooms are well-appointed (though not huge, which is pretty standard for historic Bologna), and there’s decent storage space for longer stays. What I appreciated most was how quiet everything felt, even though you’re right in the city center. Each detail reflects careful consideration for guest comfort.

While Il Loto doesn’t have its own restaurant, that’s actually part of its charm. You’re surrounded by some of Bologna’s best local spots — and I mean the kind of places where locals actually eat, not just tourist traps. It’s like having knowledgeable friends who happen to run a hotel. This approach encourages genuine exploration and discovery.

  The owner uses an innovative method to enter into the apartment. I have never met it before. It is very easy and i have to congratulate him for this. The apartment was clean and modern, It is located close to the city center. Overall it is not a value for money choice.

  What could be improved: I had some issues with checking in and to enter the appartment. Unnecessary stressful.
  I would preffer to leave tax money in the jar and enter apartment with the real keys or digital door code.

  The place is lovely. The access using a link and a code was very convenient. It's located in a quiet area but very close to the centre. Comfy bed and we loved the complimentary toothbrushes and mini toothpastes!

  The studio is very nice, well equipped, located less than 10 minutes walk from the centre. Quiet, clean, fun shower with lights, comfortable bed. The key system on the phone is very convenient. The host adapted to our time constraints on the day of check out.
