You’ll find proper Italian linens – not the scratchy stuff – and the kind of rainfall shower that makes you want to extend your stay just for the morning routine. The WiFi actually works throughout the building, which honestly surprised me given how thick these old walls are. I spent a rainy afternoon working from the common area, and the connection never dropped once. Small victories, right? The staff here really know their stuff too. When I mentioned wanting to find decent tortellini that wasn’t tourist-trap expensive, the front desk guy – Marco, I think – scribbled down three places within walking distance, complete with little notes about which pasta to order where.

Location-wise, you’re about a fifteen-minute walk from the historic center, but that’s actually ideal. You miss the cruise ship crowds stumbling around at 7 AM, yet you can still wander over to see the leaning towers whenever the mood strikes. The number 20 bus stops practically at your door if you’re feeling lazy, and it’ll dump you right at Porta San Donato. There’s also this fantastic little market – Mercato delle Erbe – about ten minutes away where locals actually shop, not just tourists buying overpriced prosciutto. The neighborhood comes alive in the evenings when the university crowd hits the aperitivo spots, and you can join in or retreat to your quiet room – the windows are surprisingly good at blocking street noise. I mean, you’ll still hear some of the nightlife, but it’s more like a gentle reminder that you’re in a living city rather than an annoying distraction. For the price point and the genuine Bologna experience, this place delivers exactly what you didn’t know you were looking for.

  Es enorme el apartamento! Completamente equipado, todo nuevo y bien decorado. Tienes transporte público pero puedes caminar sin problema al centro de la ciudad, es como estar en casa fuera de casa.

  Il nostro soggiorno nel appartamento di Elena è appena terminato e non potrei essere più che soddisfatta ! L’appartamento era impeccabile , pulito e arredato con gran gusto, offrendo un ambiente accogliente e confortevole per il nostro soggiorno. La posizione era perfetta,( dotato di parcheggio privato ),situato in una zona tranquilla ma comoda per raggiungere tutte le principali attrazioni della città! Elena è stata estremamente gentile e disponibile, facendoci sentire veramente a casa. Non vediamo l’ora di tornare a soggiornare qui nel prossimo viaggio!

  Wonderful apartment, great location 10 minutes walk to the old town with all the attractions. The apartments are very well equipped, there are all the dishes, high-quality things, a lot of space and everything is fresh and new. We were by car, there is our own parking near the house, there is a large supermarket nearby 5 minutes.
  We really enjoyed. I recommend!
