The address itself – Via Ugo Lenzi is this quiet residential street that somehow puts you right in the heart of Bologna without all the tourist chaos. I mean, you’re literally five minutes from Piazza Maggiore, but when you step outside in the morning, it feels like you’re staying in an actual neighborhood where real Bolognese people live. The building has that classic Bologna feel – you know, those warm terracotta colors that make the whole city look like it’s glowing at sunset.

The suites themselves are honestly impressive for a 4-star place. They’ve got this modern apartment vibe going on, which makes sense since GetTheKey seems to specialize in that whole extended-stay concept. The kitchenettes are actually functional (I’m talking full-sized fridge, not those tiny hotel mini-fridges), and there’s something really satisfying about being able to grab fresh tortellini from the little market around the corner and cook it yourself. The beds are solid – firm but not rock-hard – and the soundproofing is surprisingly good considering Bologna can get pretty lively, especially when students are around during the academic year. Check-in was smooth, though they do that whole digital key thing which took me a minute to figure out, but honestly, once you get it, it’s kind of convenient not having to worry about losing a plastic card.

What really sells this place, though, is the location without feeling like you’re in a tourist trap. You’re close enough to walk to all the good stuff – the covered markets, those amazing little osterie tucked into side streets, even the university area if you’re into that scene. But here’s the thing locals know: Via Lenzi puts you in this sweet spot where you can easily hit Via del Pratello for nightlife (that’s where the real Bologna evening action happens), but you’re not dealing with the noise all night. The 8.6 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be some luxury palace, but it nails what it’s going for. If you’re the type who wants to actually experience Bologna rather than just check boxes on a tourist list, and you appreciate having your own space to decompress after walking around those medieval streets all day, this place gets it right.

  The apartment was spacious and clean. It was in a good location. Two local supermarkets nearby and great cafes and restaurants. A good 15 minute walking distance to Central station and also the city centre. The apartment had a kettle, dishwasher, fridge , induction hob, microwave and washing machine. It has a great shower and bidet.It has air con and was brilliant when the temperature outside was hot! It has a small outdoor area with a table and chairs to have a morning coffee
  It is a self check in, so you don't see the staff, but they were responsive to our questions by text.
  It was a lovely stay and would recommend it to friends and family
  
  What could be improved: The bed is very firm and noisy. It creaks when you turn. It took a while to get used to it That was the only issue.

  We had a very pleasant stay. The apartment is very nice. The price is also good. It just takes +/- 20 minutes to walk to the city center, and the airport is +/- 30 minutes away by public transport. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The GetTheKey staff are also very friendly and helped us with any questions we had. I would really recommend staying here
  
  What could be improved: The only thing I can think of: The tv doesn’t work properly. Apps like Netflix and YouTube aren’t supported anymore.

  Sandra was the best host, very helpful and communicative in case of every question of ours. The apartment is so lovely, we loved the little balcony and the quiet place. The apartment has got very nice natural light and everything can be reached max. 15-20 min walk. There is a Pam Local, a Tabacchi, caffés and restaurants nearby. We highly recommend this.

  The apartment is very well connected to the airport. Upon arrival we took two buses and arrived very fast, and upon departure we took a direct bus to Birra and from there the airport can be reached on foot.
  Also, the apartment is within walking distance to the historic center and all tourist attractions. The area around the building and the building itself are nice and there are supermarkets and restaurants around.
  Inside the apartment we especially appreciated the private terrace (for smoking), the large shower and the well-equipped kitchen. The apartment is overall very spacious and offers great amenities for a long stay, even though we only stayed for 3 nights. The furnishings are new, the Internet works very well and it is decorated in good taste.
  We communicated very well with the hosts and they gave us very clear instructions for check-in and check-out.
  
  What could be improved: The bed was noisy and we woke up with stiff backs every morning. I also did not especially appreciate that I had to sign a lengthy and detailed contract and provide so much personal information for such a short stay.

  Very clean, good facilities, good services and location.
  10 minutes from the center and 20 minutes from the Bologna centrale – train. Station.
  Sandra and Federico help us with no contact check-in.
  We had a nice apartment with all are the necessary, It was a good temperature in apartment in December, so it was ok for us.
  We had washing
  machine, dishwasher, bathroom towels and all are necessary.
  
  A few recommendations😄
  1.the chest with tv is not stable.
  – I think it will be a good idea to fixed in the wall for safety.
  -It can be dangerous for kids and it must be fixed in the wall.
  
  2. The sofa and bed, are very, very noisy.
  – It can be a problem for others to sleep in these bed and sofa.

  This apartment is nice and cozy, and you can easily walk to the historic center. The kitchen has everything you need, and checking in and out is easy. The host is friendly.
  
  What could be improved: Just remember, you'll have to pay a deposit when you book, so be prepared with some extra money. It'd be a great addition if they included some salt and oil for folks staying a short while.

  A very clean and well situated studio apartment, only a 15 minute walk to all of the main sights in Bologna. It was spotless and had a fantastic kitchen/washing machine, that was perfect for our family.

  Very spacious, nicely designed apartment. Added bonus having a small outside terrace. Local are was very good for restaurants/ cafes and perfect location for walking into centre.
