The apartment itself – well, it’s got that modern Italian efficiency thing down perfectly. Everything’s clean and functional without being sterile, if that makes sense. The kitchen actually has proper coffee equipment (not those terrible pod machines), and honestly, making morning espresso while looking out at the Bologna skyline became my little daily ritual.

What really sold me on this place was the practical stuff nobody talks about in those glossy hotel reviews. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no standing around a marble lobby for twenty minutes. The host knew I was coming, had everything ready, and gave me actual useful tips about the area. You know what’s brilliant? There’s this little alimentari just two blocks down that locals use, and you can grab fresh bread and prosciutto for breakfast without dealing with tourist prices. Plus, if you’re here for business stuff at the Fiera, you can literally walk there in about ten minutes – I timed it because I’m obsessive like that.

The apartment runs quiet at night, which surprised me given how close everything is. You’ll hear the occasional scooter, but it’s that pleasant urban hum rather than jarring noise. Storage space is actually generous too (rare for European city stays), and the shower has proper water pressure. I know that sounds mundane, but after a long day walking around Bologna’s endless porticoes, it matters. The Wi-Fi held up perfectly fine for video calls, though I did notice it got a bit sluggish during peak evening hours – nothing deal-breaking, just worth mentioning.

What makes this place special isn’t any single wow factor, it’s how everything just works smoothly. The location puts you close enough to the historic center that you can wander over for dinner, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with crowds every time you step outside. I found myself using it as a proper base – grocery shopping, cooking some meals, living like I actually belonged there for a while. The 8.9 rating makes perfect sense once you experience it; it’s that sweet spot where quality meets authenticity without trying too hard to impress you.

  Sehr zentral gelegen. Nur 8 Min mit dem Auto in die Altstadt. Es fährt auch ein Bus direkt vor der Unterkunft in die Stadt. Sehr persönlicher und liebevoller Gastgeber. Salvatore hat uns Getränke im Kühlschrank und Snacks, sowie Kuchen bereitgestellt. Wirklich klasse. Die Ausstattung ist klasse.
  
  What could be improved: Zentrale Lage bedeutet natürlich auch, dass der Verkehr nicht zu überhören ist😉. Aber die Fenster sind gut isoliert.

  The place had everything we needed and more! We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary cakes, plenty of coffee and tea, and lots of thoughtful amenities—everything we could possibly think of. A truly welcoming touch from the host.

  Especially the owner was kindest. I found the house when my plan changed at the last time by chance and it was totally lucky surprise for us:) the house was about 1 km from the bologna centrale station in the opposite way of city center. But it's easy to reach on walk or by bus. The owner way really kind person. He was in a good connection with us from the beginning until we checked out. I loved this experience…

  The place is really nice if you need 2 bedroom apartment with a small kitchen to enjoy some food together.
  The owner was great and gave us all needed information and provided us with some nice additional snacks&drinks.
  I can’t say anything about location, but we have stayed there for 1 night only because we needed to be close to the train station/airport, so for us was very convenient. To the city center you can walk 25-30 min.
  
  What could be improved: I would add some wine glasses, because we have found only 1. There were few things missing but the owner really quickly reacted and brought everything to us, so everything was great.
