They pointed me toward this little trattoria about ten minutes away that I never would’ve found otherwise, and it ended up being one of those perfect Bologna experiences where you’re elbow-to-elbow with locals arguing about football over incredible tortellini. The breakfast spread is solid without being overwhelming – fresh pastries, decent coffee (important in Italy), and they don’t make you feel rushed even when you’re clearly the last person stumbling down at 9:30. I stayed during a quieter period in late spring, so I can’t speak to how it handles the trade fair crowds, but the bones of the place suggest they know what they’re doing.   Casa ampia adatta per lunghi soggiorni, attrezzata di tutti gli accessori per la cucina e per il bagno. Con temperature esterne di circa 40° nell'appartamento, con i ventilatori, non si sta male però sarebbe utile climatizzare almeno qualche ambiente.
  
  What could be improved: Per andare in centro sei obbligato a prendere i mezzi pubblici o l'auto. Ci sono però le bici elettriche che si possono noleggiare.

  The place was very good, location of the place was great and the parking was very convenient. The host left goodies for us, like toast and Nutella and even a bottle of wine! 🙂
  
  What could be improved: The apartment did not have air conditioner and our stay was July 12 through 17 during a week of temperatures in the mid-high 90s F (mid 30s C). Even though the listing did not indicate air conditioner, I asked the host, a couple days before check in, if that was ok because there was a heat wave forecast during the time we were going to stay. The host said the apartment had ceiling fans that should be enough to keep cool and a couple more fans could be provided. However, the first night we stayed it was very uncomfortable and difficult to sleep even with the additional fans. This was the only disappointment but it was so big to us that we decided to book another place with air conditioner. The host was gracious enough to apologize for the inconvenience and offered to help with part of the City Tax. Nothing bad on the host. The host was awesome, it was just unfortunate the heat was so bad and the place could not be made comfortable enough for us. We still came back a couple times to this apartment to do dinner and a morning shower. I recommended (and host said would consider) adding an Air Conditioner portable unit or two during the summer. I would definitely recommend this place for the Spring and Fall, but not in a hot summer without air conditioner.

  Very comfortable apartment. There are kitchen appliances, coffee machine, microwave. The just was kind enough to leave ice in the fridge and capsules for the coffee maker. Also there are complimentary rusk bread and chocolate which is great if you arrive late and hungry 😊
  
  What could be improved: The apartment is located in quiet suburban area, it’s very near to the airport. I can’t say how reachable is the city centre with public transport but it’s a 25-30 minutes car ride.
