The building sits right on Via Riva di Reno, which I mean, if you know Bologna at all, you’ll realize how perfect this spot is. You’re literally a five-minute walk from Piazza Maggiore, but here’s the thing – you’re tucked away from the tourist chaos on this quieter street that runs along the old canal route. The Bolognesi actually use this area, which tells you everything you need to know.

The hotel itself feels like someone took a lot of care with the details without going overboard. When I checked in (pretty smooth process, actually), the lobby had this warm, lived-in elegance that reminded me why I love staying in Italian boutique places. The rooms are what you’d hope for – clean lines, good lighting, and honestly, the bed was fantastic. I’m picky about mattresses, and this one hit that sweet spot between firm and comfortable. The bathrooms are modern without being stark, and there’s decent water pressure, which… well, anyone who’s traveled in Italy knows that’s not always a given. What really impressed me was the soundproofing – Via Riva di Reno isn’t exactly a highway, but city noise can be an issue in Bologna, especially if you’re a light sleeper like me.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the staff seemed to actually know the city. When I asked about where to grab a proper aperitivo (not the touristy stuff), they pointed me toward a little place on Via del Pratello that I never would have found otherwise. And breakfast? They do this thing where they mix international options with local touches – you can get your standard hotel breakfast, but they also had proper mortadella and some excellent local cheeses. The whole operation feels polished but not stuffy, if that makes sense. Plus, and this is huge for me, they handle the parking situation well – Bologna’s centro storico can be a nightmare if you’re driving, but they’ve got arrangements that actually work. That 9.5 rating isn’t just random numbers on a screen; you can feel why people rate it so highly when you’re actually there, surrounded by the kind of thoughtful hospitality that makes you want to extend your stay.

  Schöne große und moderne Wohnung, da Bologna recht klein ist kommt man überall gut hin. Sehr freundliche Vermieterin.

  Spacious, renovated, great facilities, appliances and attention to detail. Decoration was also nice.
  Near to city center and next to a commercial road with lots of bars and nightlife.
  Also the host was really great, very polite and helpful.

  We liked the apartment itself, very comfortable and spacious. The location was perfect for us ,we could walk everywhere, but we were away from the very busy tourist hub. We had cafes, restaurants,bars,shops very close to us which we enjoyed very much. The host of the apartment kept in touch with us ,providing suggestions of what to see during our stay and responded to all our questions promptly. The apartment and the street was quiet at night so no issues with not sleeping.
  
  What could be improved: Like a few parts of Bologna there were road works happening on our street,which was noisy during the day. We needed to keep the windows closed which provided a good sound barrier. It looked like the road works will be completed soon
