I mean, you’re not getting some sterile hotel room here – it’s actually set up like a proper apartment, so you can spread out, maybe grab groceries from the market stalls nearby, and live like you’re not just passing through. The 8.3 rating makes sense once you settle in; it’s one of those places that grows on you as you discover little thoughtful touches. The kitchen setup is actually functional – I’ve stayed in “apartment-style” places before where the kitchen was basically decorative, but this one’s legit.

What really sold me on the location was stepping outside in the morning and realizing I could walk to Piazza Maggiore in maybe five minutes, but I wasn’t dealing with the tourist crowd noise at night. Via San Petronio Vecchio is tucked just enough off the main drag that you get those quiet evening moments – you know, when you can actually hear the sounds of the neighborhood winding down. And honestly, being this close to the university area means there are these little wine bars and trattorias that locals frequent, not the ones with English menus plastered outside. The morning routine became this thing where I’d grab coffee from this tiny place around the corner (the owner started recognizing me by day three), then wander through the covered markets picking up ingredients for later. It’s that kind of setup where you fall into a rhythm instead of just checking boxes off a sightseeing list. The apartment feels substantial enough that you’re not constantly aware you’re in temporary lodging, but you’re still absolutely central to everything that makes Bologna worth visiting in the first place.

  Huoneisto oli kuten valokuvissa oli esitetty Huoneisto oli viihtyisä ja sijaitsi lähellä keskustaa, mutta kuitenkin hiljaisella sivukadulla. Parveke oli kapea, mutta toi aamiaiseen kivaa tunnelmaa.
  
  What could be improved: Sisään kirjautuminen oli kamalaa! Sisäänkirjautuminen ei onnistunut, ellei allekirjoittanut vuokrasopimusta ja huoltosopimusta. Ei ollut vaihtoehtoja, koska olin maksanut jo 5 vuorokautta ja pakkosopimus tuli ilmi vasta sisään kirjautumisessa. Emme olisi varanneet huoneistoa, jos sopimuspakko olisi ollut etukäteen tiedossa. Huoneistossa ei ollut kylpytuotteita ja wc-paperia kuin yhdeksi yöksi. Ilmastoinnin kaukosäädin oli kadonnut ja sitä ei saatu toimitettua koko lomamme aikana pyynnöistämme huolimatta. Parivuode ja sohva oli niin loppuun käytetyt, että ne tulisi uusia heti. Lisäksi turistiverosta ei ollut mitään mainintaa maksuissa varauksen yhteydessä kuten muissa Bolognan majoituspaikoissamme.

  Bolo Stay apartment was a delightful space to anchor our 5 days in Bologna. Clean, comfortable, well appointed – on a charming side street; it was a great location to explore the city from. The sunny balcony was morning perfection.

  Situato in un elegante condominio in zona tranquilla e centrale ne abbiamo apprezzato la pulizia, le rifiniture e il comfort totale. La dotazione dell'alloggio è completa e sono presenti persino materiale di primo soccorso ed altri medicamenti generici nonchè degli ombrelli ed altri generi che nel complesso denotano un'attenzione verso eventuali problematiche nelle quali si può incappare in un viaggio. Nelle vicinanze sono presenti bar, locali e bancomat senza che questi alterino la percezione di generale tranquillità. La Sig.ra Ilenia si è mostrata gentilissima e paziente nel fornirci tutte le indicazioni e nel rispondere alle nostre domande. Nel complesso altamente consigliato.

  What could be improved: Il divano letto dove hanno dormito le mie figlie aveva i piedini rotti per cui non stava orizzontale.
  Nel frigo c'erano confezioni aperte lasciate dai precedenti inquilini
  Non è possibile lasciare i bagagli il giorno della partenza oltre le 10.00, chi gestisce l'affitto non ha verificato se dovesse arrivare qualcuno.

  Η καλύτερη τοποθεσία στη Μπολόνια. Πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο, πολύ ήσυχα με όλα τα απαραίτητα δίπλα σου.Το διαμέρισμα απόλυτα οργανωμένο, καθαρό και άνετο.
  
  What could be improved: Η πρόσβαση μόνο από σκάλες στον 2ο όροφο.Η ελάχιστη ποσότητα σε είδη μπάνιου.Θα ήταν βολικό να υπήρχαν κάποια βασικά είδη όπως ζάχαρη , καφές, τσάι.
