The rooms have this perfect balance where you get modern comfort (the beds are seriously good, and the bathrooms work properly – you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case in historic buildings) but you never forget you’re in Bologna, not some international chain.

What really sealed it for me was the location – you’re about a fifteen-minute walk from Piazza Maggiore, which means you can easily wander over to the main attractions without dealing with the tourist chaos right outside your door. The neighborhood itself has this lived-in quality where you’ll see locals heading to work in the morning, actual neighborhood bars where people stop for their morning coffee, and you can pick up groceries or grab a proper meal without everything being marked up for tourists. Parking can be a bit tricky around there (like most of Bologna, honestly), but the staff actually knows the area and can point you toward the best options rather than just shrugging and saying “good luck.” The whole experience feels personal – during check-in, they took time to mark up a proper map with recommendations, not just the obvious tourist spots but places they’d actually go themselves. With a 9.6 rating, you might expect something stuffy or pretentious, but it’s the opposite – it’s just really, really well done. The kind of place where you feel like you’re getting an insider’s Bologna experience rather than just passing through.

  It feels like second home! Every little detail is taught of. Our host was the sweetest person, always answering questions and requests! It is spacious, beautiful and very clean. We got surprised with a basket of breakfast items upon arrival, which was of huge help due to the fact our visit was work related and we had to get up really early. Staying outside the city centre is the best thing – it was so peaceful and quiet. However the centre is on like 40 minutes by walk and 30 minutes by bus. The walk is so peaceful and beautiful and the bus is right outside the building. We are definitely coming back next year!!! The best accommodation we could possibly asked for!
  
  What could be improved: You can’t control the room temperature yourself but the temperature hasn’t fallen below 20 degrees and the host adjusted it remotely even in 1:30 in the morning when we requested so I wouldn’t call it an issue 😌

  Luxurious property, Beautifuly decorated,like a home from home, every amenity you need for a stay, and more.
  Fabulous host that welcomed us and provided free day bus pass and the location of the bus stop to get to the centre of bologna. We arrived quite late, and the host directed us to a local pizzeria, which was really good. Nespresso coffee every morning, plentiful tea's and juice, a good selection of breakfast items.
  Great location, nice and quiet but within walking distance of everything. Would highly recommend this property.

  Generally, the apartment was spacious, clean and well-equipped. Conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood, just a few kilometers from the city center and the airport. Host was extremely helpful, and offered tips and advice on places to visit for eating/drinking, and of interest (sight-seeing).
  
  The apartment's kitchen was fully-equipped for preparing meals with appliances in impeccable state. The bedroom had ample storage space for clothes (huge wardrobe and plenty of drawers), a dedicated workspace in case of study/work with excellent WiFi, and a very comfortable bed. Provided amenities also included bathrobes, towels and slippers.
  
  The bathroom was equipped with hair dryer, first aid kit, and all the necessary toiletries. Last but not least, the living room had a comfy sofa and a high-end television with streaming services provided too.
  
  What could be improved: Although parking was indeed free, it's hard to find due to being on the public street.

  The apartments are perfectly clean, everything is thought out to the smallest detail so that guests are comfortable from bathrobes and slippers to chargers. The hostess is very hospitable . The location is also convenient 10 minutes by car from the airport and 20 minutes from the center. Thank you Alessia!

  Our host was lovely, waiting for us at the apartment with the keys, and gave us some advice on the local area. The apartment was thoughtfully stocked with good wine, nice coffee, biscuits, a light breakfast, and even some bus tickets. I wouldn't think about staying anywhere else in Bologna as this home and the owner is perfect, and the neighbourhood is nice and quiet too, not too far from the main attractions and transport hubs.
