Here’s what I love about staying here — Via Indipendenza is one of those streets that actually makes sense. You’ve got everything you need within a few blocks, but it’s not so touristy that you feel like you’re in a theme park. You can stroll to Piazza Maggiore for aperitivo, duck into those amazing little osterie for dinner, and still feel like you’re experiencing the real Bologna. The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a solid three-star property — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed without any unnecessary frills. The beds are actually good (you know how hit-or-miss hotel beds can be), and the bathrooms are modern enough that you don’t feel like you’re roughing it. What I really appreciated was how quiet it was at night, considering you’re on such a central street. The windows do their job, and the air conditioning works properly — trust me, that matters in Bologna summers.

The breakfast setup here is one of those pleasant surprises that makes your whole day start better. They do this nice mix of continental and Italian options, plus it’s buffet style so you can actually eat what you want instead of getting stuck with some predetermined plate.   Very central, clean, staff were helpful, had really good air conditioning and comfortable bed. Accommodated having a room beside my friends and changing a double bed into twins for my son and I. My son(14 years old) loved that there was a McDonald’s extremely close by.

  Lovely large room for 4. Two older daughters had a bed settee but it was in its own ‘room’ so not having to listen to their dads snoring 🙂
  Bathroom very clean and nice too.
  Location is great, walk up the archways to the central area or walk towards the park, which had a lively bar area with musicians playing.
  
  What could be improved: Only downside was as there was no bar in the hotel you couldn’t get back after a long day and sit together have a drink and rest your legs. There is a bar in the hotel next door, but open… have to ask at reception and someone will come and serve you.

  The air conditioning was a godsend. Totally saved us during the blistering heat. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet and private. We liked the proximity to the train station and to Piazza Maggiore. Walking distance to everything.
  
  What could be improved: The breakfast could be improved with a better quality cappuccino machine. The croissants were lacking (had a teaspoon of cream inside). Also, it would be better if the breakfast was included with the roomcharge.
