The staff seems to get that most people staying here want to explore the city, not hang around the hotel lobby – they’re efficient at check-in and genuinely helpful with directions, especially to those little osterie tucked away in the side streets that you’d never find on your own. I remember the guy at the front desk sketching out a route to Osteria del Sole on a napkin, complete with warnings about which streets get crowded during aperitivo hour.

The rooms are what you’d expect from a solid 4-star place – clean, comfortable beds, decent Wi-Fi that actually works when you need to upload photos. Nothing fancy, but the AC works properly (crucial during Bologna’s sticky summers), and the bathrooms are modern without being sterile.   It is great to be close to the main station. You can reach the popular areas by short walking. Staff is helpful. They gave us an umbrella not to be wet in the rain. Food was great at the breakfast. Also there is a fridge in the room.

  Location – right in front of the train station. Very convenient if you are travelling by train. They gave us a room with Technogym bicycle in room. Good breakfast. The room was spacious.

  It is a modern hotel well maintained immediately opposite the train station so easy to find. It is on the edge of the old city and it is an easy walk into the heart of the city. Breakfast was very good. Really enjoyed our stay.

  The location was perfect for our trip, as it was super convenient to be right across the road from the train station. The 24hr front desk was also very helpful, and they changed our room for us as the first room was not great. The hotel has a small bar and courtyard available which was very comfortable to sit down and have a few drinks.
  
  What could be improved: Well in advance we let the hotel know that we would be arriving early in the morning and that it would be great if a room could be made available earlier than the normal check in time. Unfortunately, no real effort was made.
