Stadio☆☆☆☆☆ – San Luca Apartment Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Stadio☆☆☆☆☆ – San Luca Apartment on Via Pier Antonio Rappini, you immediately get that feeling you’ve stumbled onto something special. This four-star property sits in the Saragozza district, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. The building has this understated elegance that feels authentically Bolognese — not trying too hard, but clearly well-maintained and thoughtfully designed.

The Saragozza Advantage

You know what I love about staying in Bologna‘s Saragozza neighborhood? It’s got this perfect balance where you’re close enough to everything that matters, but far enough from the tourist crowds to actually breathe. The area around the apartment feels genuinely local — you’ll see families doing their evening passeggiata and students grabbing aperitivo at neighborhood bars. Plus, if you’re feeling ambitious, the famous San Luca sanctuary is practically calling your name from the hillside (though that’s quite the climb, fair warning).

Inside Your Space

The room setup here really works well for travelers who want more than just a standard hotel experience. I mean, having your own space to spread out makes such a difference, especially if you’re staying more than a couple nights. The interiors strike that sweet spot between modern comfort and Italian character — you get the amenities you need without feeling like you’re in some generic chain property. The attention to detail shows, from the lighting choices to how everything’s laid out for actual living, not just sleeping. A well-equipped kitchen allows you to prepare meals and enjoy local ingredients at your leisure.

Getting Around and Dining

What guests consistently rave about (and I totally get why) is how well-connected this spot is to Bologna’s heart. You can easily walk to Piazza Maggiore when you want that classic Bologna experience, but you’re also perfectly positioned to explore the university quarter or hunt down the best tortellini in town. The neighborhood has some fantastic local spots too — there’s this little restaurant just a few blocks away that does incredible ragù, and the morning market nearby is perfect for picking up fresh ingredients if you want to cook. On-site parking is available for guests with vehicles.

Why Guests Love It

Couples especially seem to fall for this place, and after staying here, it’s obvious why they rate the location so highly. There’s something romantic about having your own little corner of Bologna, away from the hotel lobby hustle but still connected to everything the city offers. The fact that recent guests consistently rate the location above 8.8 tells you everything — this isn’t just about having a bed for the night, it’s about experiencing Bologna the way locals do. Whether you’re here for a weekend getaway or a longer exploration of Emilia-Romagna, this place gives you the perfect home base without breaking the bank.

  • Exceptional – Adina from Romania – 17 March 2025 (10/10)

The host was really kind and waited for us to arrive (even though it was close to 11 pm). The apartment is very clean, tidy, well equipped and you could tell it was recently refurbished 🙂

    What could be improved: .

  • Very good – Dichka from Bulgaria – 7 April 2024 (8/10)

The apartment is fully equipped with everything. Restaurants, bakery, bus stop, supermarket are nearby. But in the apartment smell like mold from the basement where the second toilet is and despite the ventilation our clothes smell like mold.

What could be improved: Smell of mold

  • ok for a short time stay – Henning from Germany – 25 October 2023 (7/10)

very clean, very stylisch, nice host!

What could be improved: noise from the street, challenging parking place situation, mild in the basement, smell in the air, air conditioning was not working well and very loud

  • I don’t know, weard – Aina from Spain – 8 October 2023 (7/10)

It was very clean and we had some courtesy coffee and water. Charming and the bathroom really comfortable.

What could be improved: There are a lot of noise and light during the nights so you need earplugs and something to cover your eyes. The most terrible thing was in the check out. The code was programed to stop entrance at 10am. We came back from breakfast to take out the luggage at 10:05 and we could not enter in the place and the owner Diana didn’t pick up the phone. We were afraid to lose our flight. I think Diana had to point that out very strongly the night before or reply that morning when we sent her a message. Fortunately the cleaning lady arrived and let us enter inside to pick up or stuff. We had some panic minutes that we could easily avoid. Bad experience to be honest.

  • Cosy and spacious – Alexandros from Greece – 28 September 2023 (10/10)

Spacy apartment, clean, helpful host, nice beds

  • Good bologna stay. Nice place. – Gareth from United Kingdom – 24 August 2023 (9/10)

Excellent facilities and some nice touches that made us feel welcome (coffee capsules, toiletries etc). The space is lovely and novel being on 2 levels We perhaps we're lucky with parking…we parked outside but I'm not sure if it was legal.

Good location, we walked to the centre and back.

What could be improved: The parking issue was a little concerning for us. We weren't sure if we were allowed to park where we did.
