The suite itself is honestly gorgeous – there’s this wonderful tension between the historic architecture of the galleria and really thoughtful modern touches. The ceilings are high, the windows face into the gallery itself, so you get this soft, filtered light during the day that’s perfect for actually relaxing. What I loved most was how quiet it stays despite being in the heart of the city center. The gallery closes to shoppers in the evening, so you’re not dealing with street noise, but you’re still a two-minute walk from Via dell’Indipendenza if you want to grab dinner or hit the bars. The bathroom is spacious – I’m talking about a real soaking tub, not one of those cramped shower stalls you usually get in historic Italian buildings.

Here’s the thing about staying here: you’re positioned perfectly for exploring Bologna on foot, but you’re also in a spot that most tourists never even think about. The Quadrilatero (that’s the old market area) is practically around the corner, and you can walk to the university district without breaking a sweat. Parking is actually manageable if you’re driving – there’s a garage on Via Zamboni that’s not too expensive by Bologna standards. The check-in process was smooth, though you’ll want to coordinate your arrival time since there’s no 24-hour front desk situation. Honestly, at this price point and with a 9 rating, I was expecting maybe some quirks or compromises, but the attention to detail surprised me. Little things like really good coffee in the kitchenette, decent Wi-Fi throughout, and – this matters more than you’d think – proper blackout curtains for sleeping in. If you’re the type who likes boutique hotels with character over generic chain properties, this place gets it right.

  The apartment is really very nice! It is new and very clean. Great location for sightseeing and shopping. Though it is above Cavour Gallery it is really quiet. I would definitely come back!

  location was great. close to everything. it was clean. The main contact person messaged me via WhatsApp and he was very helpful giving me suggestions.
  
  What could be improved: It is located inside a mall so you need a key to get in after 9pm. I am used to keypads and it was an extra weight to carry around a large key set. I had to take out the garbage and it was not inside the building. (maybe that is normal in Italy. not sure). They only give one set of towels/person so you have to wash them if you want clean towels.

Although they accepted our request for a late check-out due to our late check-in, there was no space where we could put our luggage after check out. They said we could drop them off arranged place for free. It was a distance to go by taxi and when we went, we learned that it was not free. There was a loss of both money and time. We could have left it at a locker store instead. but other than that it's very nice place for stay
