When I walked up to the building, I was expecting something pretty standard for a 4-star place, but there’s this understated elegance that hits you. The entrance doesn’t scream “look at me” – it’s more like discovering a well-kept secret that someone finally decided to share.

The apartments themselves are what I’d call thoughtfully modern, if that makes sense. Everything feels deliberately chosen rather than just thrown together by some corporate interior designer. The kitchens actually work for real cooking (I mean, you can fit more than a coffee maker on the counter), and the bathrooms have that satisfying weight to the fixtures that suggests someone cared about quality over flashiness. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – and this is coming from someone who usually packs earplugs for every trip. The thick walls do their job, which is saying something since you’re still close enough to walk to Porta San Mamolo in about ten minutes.

Here’s the thing about staying in Saragozza – you’re positioned perfectly for actually experiencing Bologna rather than just checking boxes. The morning walk to grab coffee and pastries becomes this little ritual where you start recognizing the same faces, the same shop owners setting up for the day. Via del Pratello is close enough that you can wander over for dinner without planning your whole evening around it, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the crowds when you just want to decompress. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but everything works exactly like it should. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward (no lengthy speeches about amenities), and when I had a question about the heating, someone actually picked up the phone instead of making me navigate some app. Sometimes the simple stuff matters most, especially when you’re trying to settle into a new city for more than just a quick weekend.

  Clean and modern, with good kitchen facilities. Easy to check in and check out. Good location- only a 15 minute walk to the centre and some good restaurants, bars and supermarkets nearby.
  
  What could be improved: Bedding wasn’t very soft and towels were thin. Only one roll of toilet paper for a 4 night stay.

  The place is great! Clean and fresh, exactly as in the pictures. It is equipped with everything that is needed as in the description. Amazing bathroom! Walking distance from the old town (we were walking everywhere so nothing to say about buses). Delicious food around and supermarkets almost next door. We will stay here again when in Bologna.

  Spacious room, nice shower, kitchenette, washing machine, Netflix, very clean. host reachable through WhatsApp, grocery store around the corner. We loved Bologna and daytripped from there.
