I’m talking about hand-picked furniture that looks like it came from someone’s nonna’s house (but way more stylish), and the kind of attention to detail that makes you pause and think “oh, someone actually cares about this place.” The bathrooms are surprisingly spacious – which, let’s be real, is pretty rare in European hotels – and they’ve got this gorgeous tilework that photographs beautifully if you’re into that sort of thing. What really impressed me though was how quiet it gets at night. Saragozza isn’t exactly a party district, so you can actually sleep with the windows open and just hear the occasional Vespa puttering by. The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood too, not just the touristy spots but where to grab the best mortadella sandwich or which enoteca has the most interesting natural wines.

I’ll be honest – parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving, but that’s Bologna for you. The real magic happens when you embrace the walking culture here. From La Casa di Bibi, you can stroll to the Giardini Margherita in about ten minutes, which is where locals go to jog, play with their kids, or just sit and people-watch. The walk into the centro storico takes you past some genuinely beautiful architecture that doesn’t make it into guidebooks, and you’ll probably discover a new favorite café along the way. The 8.7 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be a luxury palace, but it nails everything that actually matters when you’re exploring a city like Bologna. The breakfast is proper Italian (meaning excellent coffee and fresh pastries, not some sad buffet), and the whole vibe just feels… right.   Wonderful apartment. In a quiet location, but a five-minute walk from many bars and restaurants in a wonderful neighborhood. When you open the bedroom window you are immersed in the smell of Jasmine. There is a washing machine and dryer in the apartment. There is a magnificent garden in the building. The host Giuseppe was very kind. We are extremely happy with our stay in Bologna and that we chose this location. I highly recommend it!

  It is an apartment located very close to Piazza Maggiore (10 minutes walk). If you are a person who likes to walk, the train station is not very far either, it is 30 minutes walk. It is a spacious, clean apartment, with everything you need. The owner of the apartment was punctual, we didn't wait at all at the door for him to appear to give us the keys.

  Host was really nice and helpful. The location of the flat was excellent for shopping, great food and bars, and nightlife nearby – and only 10 min walk from the center of Bologna. The flat was quiet, cosy, modern, comfortable and clean. Would absolutely stay there again.

  Lovely and comfortable flat in a central location . The flat was clean and had everything I needed. The tea and kettle came in handy as I got a bit sick during my stay. I have no complaints about this flat and will recommend it to friends who come stay in Bologna.
