The apartment itself is what I’d call “properly Italian” – everything works, it’s clean and comfortable, but it’s not trying to be some sterile hotel room. The kitchen actually has real pots and pans, not just a token stovetop, which came in handy when I grabbed some amazing tortellini from the market near Via del Pratello.

Here’s the thing about this place that surprised me – the soundproofing is actually pretty decent. I was worried about street noise, but even with the windows open on warm evenings, it stayed reasonably quiet. The “superior” part of the name isn’t just marketing speak; you can tell someone put thought into the details. Good shower pressure (trust me, this matters after walking around Bologna all day), proper blackout curtains, and – this might sound weird – but the bed was exactly the right firmness. Not too soft, not like sleeping on concrete. The fair connection is legit too; during Cosmoprof season, this place books up fast because it’s genuinely convenient for the exhibition grounds, but without the chaos of being right on top of everything. I stayed during a quieter period in late September, and it felt like having a little Bologna apartment rather than just another hotel room. The 8.6 rating makes sense – it’s not trying to be luxury, but it nails what it’s supposed to do, and the price point reflects that perfectly.

  The host was very friendly, and gave us a botle of prosseco. The apartment is clean and located in a quiet area. Distance to the center is 30 minutes by walk, but there is a bus that can take you there.
  
  What could be improved: No living room, the appartment is really composed of 1 kitchen and 2 rooms. Therefore it is a place just to sleep, to to spend much time in. The description says 6 beds, when there are 4 single beds and a coach in the corridor.

  Ennio is very friendly and helpful. Responds to messages, recommends bars and restaurants around. Apartment is clean and comfy, very close to the exhibition area.

  Our host advised us to contact him 5min prior to arrival. He was there. The location of the apartment was close to a grocery store and about a 20min walf from the train station. The area was quiet and it felt safe to walk around at any time of the day.

  Ennio el anfitrión es una persona magnifica, nos recibió muy bien, nos dió consejos sobre toda la ciudad, nos regaló un vino y estuvo siempre atento a nosotros inclusive hasta después de irnos, una persona para conocer sin dudas! El departamento enorme e impecable, súper cómodo y con todo lo necesario. Accesible a todos lados. Sin dudas en nuestra vuelta a Bologna estaremos aquí nuevamente. Gracias Ennio!
