Here’s what I love about the location — you’re close enough to everything that matters, but you’re not dealing with the chaos of the absolute city center. Via Stalingrado might not sound romantic, but it’s actually perfectly positioned for exploring Bologna without the tourist crowds right outside your window. The fact that couples consistently rate the location 9.6 tells you something, and I get it. You can easily reach the historic center, but you also have that sense of discovering a local neighborhood. Plus, there’s parking here, which anyone who’s driven in Italian cities will appreciate — it’s free and private, so you’re not circling blocks looking for a spot.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had this perfect balance of modern comfort and Italian warmth. You know what struck me? The attention to making it actually feel like a home away from home — not just another sterile hotel space. The furnishings feel thoughtfully chosen rather than bulk-ordered, and there’s enough space to actually unpack and settle in. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms are well-designed without being over-the-top fancy. Each room is equipped with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.

While they don’t have an on-site restaurant, this actually works in your favor — Bologna is a food lover’s paradise, and being here puts you in easy reach of some incredible local spots that tourists often miss. The staff knows the neighborhood well and their recommendations are spot-on. I mean, you’re in the city that gave the world Bolognese sauce and tortellini, so getting out and exploring the local dining scene is half the point of being here. The kitchen facilities available to guests add another layer of flexibility for those who prefer to prepare their own meals.

  Big and very clean. The location is fantastic and the facilities are new and easy to use. There is an air-conditioner in every room and plenty of towels. Had a very good night sleep.
  
  What could be improved: There were quite some mosquitos at night despite the windows being shut throughout our stay. Only our guest on the sofa bed was disturbed at night. Had we known about this we would've double checked for mosquitos and put bug repellent beforehand.

  Home was beautiful, very clean and very well taken care of. Layout was great for a 5-person family. Host was kind and responsive and very helpful with check-in. 10 Minutes from Airport with lots of good food options nearby.
  
  What could be improved: The air conditioners only were only blowing hot air which was quite uncomfortable in Mid-July when we had a long day of travel day ahead of us. We were in communication with the Landlord but were not able to find a solution. I believe the AC will be able to be fixed easily for next guests.

  The property was perfect. Easy access to the centre of town on bus or walking. Close to Congress Convention Centre.
  Loads of space in the apartment. Double glazed windows so even though on a main road, you couldn't hear the cars. The host contacted us a few times to make sure we didn't need anything.

  An excellent beer-steak restaurant existed in the same building. A supermarket in the nearby walking distance.
  
  What could be improved: The front door key was very hard to turn, and it took a few days to get used to it. Some mosquitos existed in the unit and were difficult to get rid of. Bologna's public transportation system is very poor, and it was very difficult to catch a taxi. Phone request for a taxi does not work well due to over subscription,
