Here’s what I love about the location — you’re in Saragozza, which locals know is one of Bologna’s most desirable residential areas. It’s far enough from the tourist crowds around Piazza Maggiore that you feel like you’re experiencing the real city, but close enough that a fifteen-minute walk gets you to all the main sights. The neighborhood has this lovely, lived-in quality with tree-lined streets and actual Bolognese families going about their daily routines. You know what really sold me on the area? There’s a fantastic local bakery just around the corner that opens at 6 AM, and the aroma of fresh bread drifting down the street is honestly the best alarm clock you could ask for.

Your Personal Space

The room I stayed in felt thoughtfully designed rather than just decorated — there’s a difference, and you notice it immediately. Everything from the lighting to the furniture placement seems intentional, creating this sense of calm that’s actually pretty rare in city accommodations. The attention to detail is impressive without being showy — quality linens, well-positioned reading lights, and storage that makes sense for how people actually live and travel. What struck me most was how quiet everything was, despite being in the city center (well, sort of center — Saragozza is perfectly positioned for exploring).

Mornings here have this unhurried quality that I really appreciated. The staff seems to understand that not everyone wants to rush through breakfast and dash out to sightsee — sometimes you want to ease into the day, especially when you’re somewhere as beautiful as Bologna. The common areas invite lingering, and there’s something to be said for starting your day in a space that feels genuinely welcoming rather than efficiently functional. I found myself actually looking forward to returning each evening, which doesn’t always happen when you’re staying somewhere new.

  Top little modern apartment. Everything that you could wish for and more. Prompt response from the owner to a couple of questions was much appreciated as were the complimentary goodies in the fridge!

  Everything was perfect from start to finish. Amazing place. Recommend! Very fancy apartment in a great, quiet location on the outskirts of the city, away from all the hustle and bustle.
  
  What could be improved: My only real complaint is that we couldn't find a bed sheet for the extendable sofa. Apart from that, all else was 10/10.

  Self Check-In was easy, the location was perfect for us because we attended a Rallye in Bologna and the start was a few metres away. Everything was clean and comfortable. The host put pasta, beer, etc in the shelves which we did not need, but the idea was very kind.

  Such a beautiful place and well equipped. We have been on a business trip and needed an accomodation for one night. Great distance by taxi or bus from Bologna Centrale and the Airport. For sightseeing take bus Nr 20 back to town. Station just around the corner. Super nice and quiet area. Host is great, communication easy and quick. Can highly recommend this place. Thanks for your hospitality.
