• Bologna Stay – Vanita from United Kingdom – 9 September 2024 (7/10)

  It was a super cute apartment with a lovely bed & shower & great location for travelling as a 5 minute walk from the train station & 15 minutes to the bus station. Generally it met all our needs & we really enjoyed our week.
  
  What could be improved: I could not work the microwave & sent a message but never received a reply so was never used which given the lack of oven would have been useful. The hairdryer didn't work but due to how warm it was didn't bother reporting. There was no bottle opener, bought a bottle of wine with a cork which I was unable to drink & we managed with a bit of brute force to get the caps of the cider & beer we bought. There was no saucepan provided only 2 frying pans, thankfully I was able to boil pasta in one as it was just about deep enough.

  We were met at the property to collect keys and show us around the apartment. Apartment was spacious for a couple and was well equipped. Air conditioning was a bonus with the hot weather. Location was fabulous just a short walk to Central Station. Communication with the host was courteous and responsive.
  
  What could be improved: A toaster and kettle in the kitchen would have made our stay even better

  – communication with agent & easy check in, with clear instructions
  – layout of apartment with bedroom upstairs
  – enough crockery provided to eat at the apartment , rather than need to eat every meal in a restaurant
  – supermarket (Coop) 6 mins walk away
  – felt private, and was quiet . An easy and enjoyable walk in to town centre
  – communal car park in front of apartment (behind locked gate from the main road) actually provided enough safe space for children to play
  
  What could be improved: – crockery could do with a refresh, and a few additions
  – would have preferred not to have to take all trash out at end of holiday (but that is minor)

  The loft is sooo pretty and the location is in the middle of the city which is great because you can walk everywhere

  Very friendly hosts, at one step from central station, and near city centre. We are smokers and IT was perfect because we had door outside. A pleasure to stay here. A big plus i could come with kid without problem and late check in. For sure i will come back here.

  Great location, right behind the train station. Comfortable bed and all amenities including a washing machine and air con!!!
  
  What could be improved: It is really for 2 people. My daughter found the sofa bed really uncomfortable with a line down the middle.
  We called it “the cave” as there was only one window and it lead into the block of flats’ parking space and was too public to leave it open.
