This isn’t some romantic city center spot where you’ll stumble out onto cobblestones at midnight. Instead, you’re in this practical neighborhood that locals actually live in, about 20 minutes from the historic center by bus (the 54 line runs pretty regularly, by the way).

The thing about this place is that it feels refreshingly unpretentious. Walking in, you get that clean, modern business hotel vibe without the stuffiness – probably because half the guests are conference attendees who just want things to work properly. The rooms are solid 4-star quality, nothing fancy but thoughtfully laid out with decent soundproofing, which matters since you’re near the airport. I mean, you’ll hear planes occasionally, but it’s not the constant roar you might expect. The beds are actually comfortable – that firm European style that either works for you or doesn’t. What I really appreciated was the workspace setup; they clearly understand that people need to get things done here.

You know what surprised me? The breakfast spread is genuinely good, not just passable hotel continental stuff. They do proper Italian coffee (thank god), local pastries, and enough variety that you won’t get bored if you’re staying several days. The conference facilities are where this place really shines though – I’ve seen business travelers practically set up camp in the lobby areas because the WiFi is fast and there are plenty of power outlets. Parking is straightforward too, which anyone who’s tried to park in central Bologna will appreciate. The 7.6 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it delivers exactly what it promises. If you’re flying in late or out early, need reliable conference space, or just want a comfortable base without the tourist markup, this place actually makes a lot of sense. Just don’t expect to walk to the Two Towers from here.

  Being so close to the airport, with a free shuttle included, is invaluable. The breakfast offers plenty of choices and is very good – it’s just a shame they don’t have more gluten-free and vegan options.

  Quiet, spacious, looked good, had everything I needed and was by the airport. It was clean and huge potential for all kinds of events
  
  What could be improved: My flight landed after 11pm and there was no shuttle or way for me to get there by taxi. I had to walk – a woman alone, in the dark with a big case down several motorways! The location is not next to the airport like it claims. The last shuttle in the morning to the airport was also very early. Then there was nothing till night time. This is really not good for customers.

  Convenience of being close to the airport, with the free shuttle offered to and from the airport. The room is big, bed is ok and bathroom is also good. Didn't use other hotel facilities so I can't really review that.
