But this design apartment near Bologna’s famous Two Towers is actually heavenly, and the street name is just one of those quirky Italian things that makes you love this city even more. The location is seriously perfect if you want to feel like a local rather than a tourist. You’re literally a three-minute walk from Piazza di Porta Ravegnana where the towers lean dramatically into the sky, but you’re tucked away on a quiet side street that most visitors never discover. I mean, the morning routine here is incredible – grab espresso from the tiny bar around the corner (the owner, Marco, makes the best cornetti), then wander through the porticoes that UNESCO loves so much.

The apartment itself has this modern, minimalist vibe that actually works really well in such an ancient city. It’s not trying too hard to be trendy, you know? The design feels thoughtful – clean lines, good lighting, and honestly some of the most comfortable furniture I’ve encountered in a rental. The kitchen is small but functional (perfect for making that morning coffee or storing leftovers from Osteria del Sole), and the bathroom has this rainfall shower that’s pretty luxurious for the price point. What I really appreciated were the little touches that show someone actually thought about how people live – proper hangers, enough outlets near the bed, blackout curtains that actually block the morning light. The 8.4 rating makes sense because while it’s not flawless, it gets the important stuff right.

Here’s what you should know practically speaking: parking is tricky like everywhere in Bologna’s center, but there’s a decent garage about five minutes away if you’re driving. The street can get a bit lively on Friday nights – not obnoxiously loud, but you’ll hear people heading to the bars in the university quarter. Check-in was smooth (they use a keybox system that actually works), and the building itself has that solid, old-world feel with thick walls that keep things quiet during the day. You’re also perfectly positioned to explore beyond the obvious tourist spots – Via del Pratello for aperitivo, the Saturday market at Piazza VIII Agosto, or even just getting lost in the maze of medieval streets that branch off from here. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself planning your next Bologna trip before you’ve even left.

  The guy who welcomed us (sorry forgotten his name) was very friendly. The apartment was very well situated near to the old town with lots of bars cafes & restaurants. The accommodation was in a quiet street so it was peaceful. Very spacious accommodation.

  Location is very central, quite in the hudden street just few steps from the main square. The flat is very spacious and clean.

  Perfect location in the midst of Bologna but tucked away in the Jewish quarter where it was quiet. We liked that fact it was modern and felt very secure. We liked that the agent for the apartment did their best to fix our problems.
  
  What could be improved: We didn't like the fact that we had about 3 days of water dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom that we had to deal with while waiting fo plumbers to fix. We did not like that we were only compensated for one night accommodation for the inconvenience. We did not like that we had to deal with a landlord problem while on a holiday.

  Really well located, spacious with all the amenities that you need. Federico gave us a lot of support via whatsapp.
  
  What could be improved: As we travelled with a 2yo, we consider that the floor might have been a little cleaner. The couch, although of more than decent dimensions, yhe matress was not too confortable for an adult plus a child
  Also, as we stayed for 5 nights, i find it occurrd that, there is no instructions regarding the trash that you gather during your stay.
