I actually found some of my favorite Bologna moments just wandering the streets within a few blocks of the hotel, stumbling across hidden courtyards and tiny wine bars that don’t make it into guidebooks.

  I liked that there was coffee and water available at no cost anytime you'd like it during your stay. The room was very clean and spacious.
  
  What could be improved: The walls were very thin. I could here everything. Everyone's cough, sneeze, etc. I literally thought that the person blowing their nose was standing in my room. Also, the AC was not in working order.

  The place was nice, clean and had everything we needed. The host made sure the clean each day, change our towels and make our bed which was more than expected.
  
  What could be improved: Before arrival the host kept texting us in Italian, making the conversation uneasy, as I had to copy- paste and translate each message. Upon arriving and meeting the host she kept speaking in Italian even though we had explained we do not understand a word. Finally she opened a translator and we managed to understand her, but this definitely felt odd.

  Nice room with comfy beds, high ceilings and a classic but clean interior. Views were great. The host couldn't speak any English but it was amazing how she really wanted to put you at ease. We talked with translations on our phones and she was very very helpful.
  
  What could be improved: I didn't know if the shower had an extraction fan, but there is a window. Which, weirdly, seems to be shared with the neighboring room? Don't know for sure but it was a little puzzling.

  Perfect location, walking distance from the center and the train station. The WC was amazing, with a great shower, and everything was very clean! Great entrance space with a lot of complementary snacks!
