The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully designed. Nothing massive, but you’re not in Bologna to hang out in your hotel room anyway, right? What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re surrounded by the city’s energy during the day. The beds are actually comfortable (not always a given in European hotels, let’s be honest), and the bathrooms have proper water pressure – small thing, but it matters when you’ve been walking around Bologna’s endless porticoes all day. The staff seems to genuinely know the area too, which is refreshing. When I asked about where to grab an early morning coffee, the guy at the front desk didn’t just point me to the nearest bar but specifically recommended this little place on Via del Pratello where locals actually go. That kind of insight makes a difference.

Here’s the thing about the location that really works – you’re close enough to duck back for a quick rest between the morning food markets and evening aperitivo, but far enough from the university area that you’re not dealing with late-night student noise. Plus, if you’re planning to do any day trips (and you should – Modena’s just a quick train ride away), the train station is a reasonable walk or a short taxi ride. Parking can be tricky in this part of Bologna, but they’ll sort you out with directions to nearby garages, and honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t need a car anyway. The whole historic center is perfectly walkable, and half the charm of Bologna is getting lost in those covered walkways and stumbling onto hidden piazzas. With an 8.9 rating, this place clearly gets the balance right – it’s polished enough that you feel well taken care of, but it hasn’t lost that authentic Bologna character that makes you feel like you’re actually experiencing the city rather than just visiting it.

  Excellent location, great facilities, modern kitchen and comfortable beds. Perfect for a short or longer stay. A great view from the windows as well.
  
  What could be improved: There was a recurring buzzing noise possibly coming from the air conditioner even when it was off that made it hard for those on the pullout couch to sleep. Otherwise all was really great.

  What could be improved: insonorizzazione tra gli ambienti della casa e tra la casa e gli altri appartamenti inesistente, quindi è stato quasi impossibile dormire e riposare, anche per l'assenza delle tende, quindi anche di privacy, che erano invece presenti nelle foto: l'unico ambiente adeguatamente oscurato era la camera matrimoniale, quindi se avete il sonno leggero o in generale difficoltà a dormire con rumori e/o luci, sconsigliamo vivamente; pulizia assolutamente da migliorare, la casa era piena di polvere ed in generale la casa in foto è una cosa e di fatto è un'altra, con molte infiltrazioni e crepe; materassi veramente troppo vecchi ed usati. Capisco che sia solo una casa da affittare ma è troppo diversa dalle foto.
  La totale assenza di banalità come cambi di asciugamani o anche una sola cialda di caffè, con la macchinetta lì in bella vista, onestamente lascia l'amaro in bocca.
  Non è stato possibile sedersi sul divano poiché i cuscini della seduta non erano fissi, suppongo fossero rotti o non adeguatamente agganciati, pertanto si scivolava giù per terra con loro. Per il resto, il salone-cucina molto spazioso e luminoso, le camere anguste ma complete di essenzialità, e il doppio bagno molto comodo.

  The place was central and ideal to reach the main sites. The apartment was clean and had all the required equipment and appliances and a sweet yard.

  Idéalement situé pour visiter le centre historique de Bologne. Appartement lumineux. Lits confortables. Ascenseur fonctionnel.
  
  What could be improved: Pas de la faute du propriétaire, mais des conditions météo extrêmes durant notre séjour avec pluie très abondante ont favorisé l’infiltration d’eau à partir du toit, affectant la salle de bain et la pièce de séjour. Autrement, ça aurait été parfait.
