Bologna House Due Torri Apartment Overview
You know those places that just get everything right? Bologna House Due Torri Apartment is one of them. I mean, the location alone – you’re right in Galleria Acquaderni, which honestly sounds fancy but it’s actually this lovely covered passage that locals use as a shortcut between the main shopping areas. The apartment itself is tucked away on the third floor (that’s interno 103 if you’re looking for it), and there’s something really satisfying about having your own little Bologna hideaway while still being steps from everything that matters.
The space feels authentically Bologna – none of that generic hotel-room sterility you usually get. The windows face into the galleria, so you get this interesting mix of natural light filtering through the glass ceiling and the gentle hum of people going about their day below. It’s not loud, more like a subtle reminder that you’re in the heart of a living, breathing city. The kitchen actually works too, which is rarer than you’d think in these historic buildings. I found myself picking up ingredients from Mercato delle Erbe (about a ten-minute walk) and cooking simple meals – there’s something really special about making your morning coffee while watching Bologna wake up outside your window.
What really sets this place apart is how it connects you to the real Bologna rhythm. You’re maybe three minutes from Piazza Maggiore if you walk fast, but you’re also perfectly positioned to slip into those narrow side streets where locals grab their morning cornetto. The Due Torri – those famous medieval towers – are literally right there, which explains the name, though honestly the best part isn’t the tourist-photo angle but how you start to use them as your personal navigation landmarks. “Turn left at the leaning tower” becomes part of your daily vocabulary. The whole area goes quiet around 9 PM, which means you actually sleep well, but then by 7 AM you’ve got that perfect Italian morning energy building outside. And parking – well, you don’t really need to worry about it since everything walkable, but there’s a garage about five minutes away if you’re driving. The host clearly knows what they’re doing too; check-in was smooth, and they left these thoughtful little touches that made it feel like staying at a friend’s place rather than just another rental.

Reviews of Bologna House Due Torri Apartment
Great short staying in Bologna – Samuele from Spain – 20 January 2025 (10/10)
The apartment was very cozy and we definitely felt at home. It was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described—if not better! The full equipped kitchen allowed us to follow are diet requirements, although we enjoyed very much the Bologna great gastronomy. The two bedrooms very spacious and very comfortable. The two bathrooms were beautifully maintained, with all the essentials provided. The showers were fantastic—great water pressure and consistent hot water. It’s clear the host pays attention to every detail to ensure guests feel comfortable. Although we were in the heart of city, the apartment was very quiet. The host Raimondo was very responsive and helpful, providing clear instructions and answering all our questions promptly.
What could be improved: One thing to be aware of is that Bologna’s city center becomes a pedestrian-only zone during weekends, which can make it challenging to get a taxi or bus nearby. While this is great for walking and enjoying the charm of the area, it did create some inconvenience for transportation, especially with luggage.Superb – Jonathan from United Kingdom – 20 October 2024 (9/10)
Lovely apartment, very well located.

We’ll located and we’ll managed property – Andrea from United States – 1 November 2023 (9/10)
What a prime location for visiting Ali
parts of Bologna. The compact apartment was well laid out, the kitchen is stocked adequately but I wouldn’t suggest extensive cooking. It was nice to come into an apartment with beverages in the refrigerator and coffee/ tea on hand at arrival. We loved our wee outside sitting are too. If you’re a light sleeper I’d suggest ear plugs. The unit is pretty soundproofed but weekend nights can be raucous.
Finally, hats off to Raimondo who went way out of his way to make our week’s
stay care free and enjoyable. We wish every property we rented on this 10 week trip had been managed by Raimondo.

Convenient, comfortable apartment in Bologna! – Karen from United States – 9 July 2023 (10/10)
We love the location! The apartment was comfortable and had everything you'd want in Bologna, especially if you plan to eat dinner out most nights (as one should in Bologna!). Access to the apartment is complicated, but very well described by the manager Raimondo. We also appreciated the water bottles provided! AC and internet worked well. Any issues we had were promptly and well dealt with by Raimondo. We will book this apartment again when returning to Bologna!
What could be improved: Please mark the wall power plate as to the position of on/off for the washing machine/dryer. Confusion concerning this occurred on more than one occasion. Otherwise all was great!!The apartment was fine for a few days, the location great, but get advance arrival instructions. – Lynda from United States – 13 April 2023 (7/10)
The location in the historic center of Bologna was perfect for walking everywhere we wanted to see.
The host Raimondo went above and beyond to help us with any issues, spoke English well, and helped us check in and out and call a taxi which made everything easier for us.
What could be improved: We could not be given the info on how to find or get into the apartment until the day of arrival and since we were traveling, could not get it in time. It is a very difficult place to find and we arrived with no info. I understand that the exact access code may not be changed and given until the day but how to find the building and the apartment directions COULD definitely be shared well in advance. Luckily, Raimondo eventually showed up when he realized we hadn't received his instructions but not before we had a difficult day.Favoloso – Kaya from United Kingdom – 25 July 2022 (10/10)
What a wonderful location to explore the this beautiful city. Raimondo’s hospitality was over and above our expectations, he made us feel so welcome and had thought of everything to make our stay perfect. Bottled water and other drinks and juices in the fridge. Lovely fresh bowl of fruit. 3 Great air-con units, large smart tv in living area and two wall mounted in the bedrooms. Apartment was beautifully clean and the bed linen smelled fresh on the very comfortable large beds.
What could be improved: There was nothing that we didn’t like.
