It’s tucked away on Via Carbonara in this perfectly unassuming spot where you’d walk right past it if you weren’t looking – but that’s actually part of its charm. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from Piazza Maggiore, but somehow you’ve escaped all the tourist chaos that comes with being right in the thick of things. The building itself has that classic Bologna vibe with the terracotta facades, and honestly, stepping inside feels like you’re staying at a friend’s well-appointed apartment rather than some sterile hotel room.

The apartment setup is what really won me over, though. Sure, it’s got that 4-star polish – everything works, the wifi doesn’t cut out when you need it most, and the shower pressure is actually decent (anyone who’s traveled through Italy knows this isn’t always a given). But there’s something more lived-in about the space that I really appreciated. The kitchen is actually functional if you want to grab some mortadella and parmigiano from Tamburini down the street, and there’s enough room to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The windows face the street, so you get a bit of that Bologna morning bustle – not loud enough to wake you up, but just enough to remind you where you are.

What I love about this location is how it puts you right in the rhythm of the city. You’re practically neighbors with locals heading to the covered markets on Via Drapperie, and you can easily walk to both the university area and the more touristy spots depending on your mood. The 8.7 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be some luxury palace, but it nails the things that actually matter when you’re exploring a city like Bologna. The check-in was smooth (they actually responded to messages quickly, which… again, not always a given), and the whole experience felt more authentic than those big chain places near the train station. If you’re someone who wants to feel like you’re living in Bologna rather than just passing through, this place gets it right. Plus, and this is probably silly, but I loved how the morning light hits the apartment – makes your coffee taste better, you know?

  I recently stayed at this apartment and was thoroughly impressed! The flat was beautifully furnished with brand new furniture, giving it a fresh and modern feel. The location was perfect—just a short walk from the main square, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient.
  
  The apartment had absolutely everything we needed: ironing facilities, cleaning supplies, a vacuum cleaner, a microwave, a dishwasher, and even a coffee machine. Every detail was thoughtfully provided for maximum comfort.
  
  The staff were fantastic! They were extremely polite and always available via WhatsApp, making communication quick and easy.
  
  Overall, this was one of the best stays I’ve had and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, well-equipped apartment in a prime location. Thank you for a great experience!
  
  What could be improved: While we had a fantastic stay overall, I wanted to share a few suggestions to make future guests’ experiences even better:
  • It would be a lovely touch to have a small bottle of mineral water as a welcome gesture.
  • When we arrived, the boiler was turned off, so we had to wait a little while before we could take a shower. Ensuring it’s turned on in advance would be very helpful.
  • The internet speed was slightly slow (around 18 Mbps). A faster connection would be much appreciated, especially for those working remotely.
  
  These are just small points that would enhance an already great experience!

  Posizione veramente ottima, arredamento molto carino e di gusto, ottima illuminazione, ottimo sistema di riscaldamento, appartamento fornitissimo di tutto, molto carino poter usare le varie piattaforme in TV, e la ragazza che ci ha seguiti per il check in è stata veramente super gentile e disponibile…e cosa che non guasta proprio nei pressi dell'abitazione ci sono tanti localini di qualità dove bere e stuzzicare qualcosa in modo super piacevole!
  
  What could be improved: Purtroppo l'appartamento non era ben pulito, polvere ovunque, le federe dei cuscini presentavano dei buchini e delle macchie di vecchia data che evidentemente non sono andate mai via, ed è veramente un peccato che una casa così moderna e ben arredata poi pecchi in questi punti…anche il fatto di non trovare i piumini imbustati nei copripiumini stona, oltre a rendere tutto elettrostatico, mentre il fatto che la serratura del bagno non funzionasse è stato un vero disagio…così come il piatto della doccia che non essendo per nulla in pendenza fa allargare facilmente tutto il bagno!Colmando questi piccoli difetti può sul serio diventare un appartamento perfetto!

  Die Unterkunft hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage! Alles, was man braucht, ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Lebensmittelmarkt ist nur ein paar Schritte entfernt, was unglaublich praktisch ist. Auch die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind schnell und einfach zu erreichen, perfekt für Sightseeing. Eine ideale Unterkunft für alle, die Komfort und eine zentrale Lage suchen. Absolut empfehlenswert.

  The location was perfect in the Centro. The size of the bathroom was large and comfortable and modern. The apartment was clean and fresh. Very convenient close to a grocery store.
  
  What could be improved: We had to set up the beds upon arrival. Sheets were there, but we had to find the comforters and put them into the duvet covers. The last two days we did not have hot water and not sure why.
